[Chaponnay, 21/10/2024] - BIBUS France, a supplier of complete solutions, particularly in the field of agricultural robotics, today announced its membership of RobAgri, the French association for agricultural robotics. This membership reflects BIBUS France's commitment to the development of more sustainable, high-performance agriculture, based on technological innovation - the spearhead of the SME, which celebrated its 60th anniversary this year.

A growing French market

The French agricultural sector is undergoing a profound transformation, driven by innovation and the quest for optimization. More and more farmers are adopting robotic solutions to improve productivity, reduce costs (fuel, maintenance, etc.), minimize environmental impact and lighten the workload.

Technologies such as surveillance drones, automated spraying systems and robotized tillage are booming. Many innovative projects are already up and running in the field, enabling more precise crop management and reduced pesticide use, for example. RobAgri: a key actor in innovation

To provide a solution to the challenges facing the agricultural sectors, a young association was created in 2017: RobAgri. More than 85 members have already joined the association, including robotics start-ups, agricultural machinery and electronics manufacturers, research and teaching laboratories, competitiveness clusters and agricultural production structures.
The association works with all its members on key issues for the development of agricultural robotics. Reflection, studies, concept testing, knowledge transfer and exchange are a precious breeding ground for developing global solutions such as robot safety, field recharging, standardization, and future field and virtual testing facilities.
