Rotary dampers ACE
Rotary speed controllers or rotary dampers are almost invisible but indispensable machine components that allow controlled deceleration of rotary or linear movements without maintenance.
They are therefore ideal for controlling and slowing down movements with continuous rotation or with limited swivel angles. They therefore slow down the rotation to the left, right or both sides.
These rotary dampers are suitable for all types of applications and are available in adjustable variants and damping torques from 0.001 Ncm to 40 Nm.
Easy to integrate, rotary dampers allow the precise opening and closing of small covers, compartments and drawers. In this way, they protect sensitive components while increasing the quality and value of products.

FRT series
Small and lightweight for precision damping and composed of a plastic body that rotates in both directions, FRT speed controllers are the smallest in the ACE range and are capable of damping directly into the pivot point or linearly through a gear and rack.

FFD series
Unlike other rotary dampers, FFD does not require fluid to generate braking torque because it operates on the friction principle. This means that temperature or speed variations have practically no influence on the damping torque. FFD rotary damper is available in two body variants and two types of bearings.

FDT & FDN Series
Composed of a flat and robust steel body, the FDT & FDN rotary dampers brake the speed on both sides and directly in the pivot point.

FYN Series
The FYN series rotary dampers can be mounted directly in the pivot point. During each reverse movement of the unilateral deceleration versions, there is a return time that depends on the size of the shock absorber.

The braking direction of the rotary dampers in this series can be adjusted either to the left, right or both sides. The brakes consist of a particularly robust zinc body hardened under pressure and a steel rod. During each reverse movement of the unilateral deceleration versions, there is a return time that depends on the size of the shock absorber.
