Dynamic Damping gas springs
Thanks to the groove that is cut into the cylinder tube, the damping characteristic of the gas spring can be tailored very individually to the requirements of your application.
In this case, the damping is not provided by oil flowing through the orifice, as is the case with conventional gas springs, but is controlled by the groove in the cylinder. The result is a number of advantages: The damping in this variant has an effect in all mounting positions. Whether horizontal or with the piston rod up, the damping characteristic is always the same.
Advantages :
- Final damping assured in all mounting positions (horizontal or with piston rod up).
- Controlled damping possible in any position
- Individual damping characteristics over the entire stroke possible
In order to be able to design the groove, detailed information on the application and the desired function of the gas spring is required from our design team.
Features :
- Sizes available: 6/15, 6/19, 6/22, 8/19, 8/22, 10/22
- Stroke: 40 to 800 mm
