Rubber bellows elements (Aerolator)

These rubber bellows feature a flexible elastomer rubber body with nylon fabric reinforcement, and corrosion-resistant treated plates with an air inlet. Used like an air spring, these isolators absorb up to 99% of unwanted vibrations, preventing damage to equipment and associated structures, while reducing noise.
An alternative use for these isolators is as pneumatic actuators, to replace traditional pneumatic or hydraulic cylinders. Thanks to their design, the air pressure inside the bellows can be used to produce upstroke, downstroke, thrust, tension or angular movements. The advantages are lower maintenance costs (no moving parts, no joints and therefore no friction), no lubrication and space savings for equivalent force.
